Everything a first-time Botox patient needs to know before booking in Busan.
Botox is one of the world's most popular aesthetic treatments — and Busan offers excellent value and clinical quality compared to markets in Western countries. Here is what first-time patients should know.
Botox relaxes muscles that cause wrinkles — preventing the contraction that creates expression lines. It does not add volume, fill hollows, or lift structural sagging. For those concerns, filler or lifting treatments are more appropriate.
Korean-manufactured botulinum toxins are highly regarded clinically and are significantly more affordable than imported alternatives (Botox by Allergan, Dysport). At VANDS, we use both Korean and imported products depending on the treatment zone and your clinical profile. Ask which product will be used at consultation.
Botox takes 3–7 days to take effect. Full results are visible at 2 weeks. If you are visiting Busan for a specific event, allow at least 2 weeks after your injection for results to be fully visible.
Botox has been used safely in medical practice since the 1980s and is one of the most studied cosmetic treatments in the world. The key is using an appropriate dose, in the right location, by a qualified practitioner.
3–5 months. Regular treatment over time can gradually extend the duration.
